Sometimes, after my friends have gone home, I stare at the night sky. I’m alone with my thoughts, my memories, my dreams, and the one person I can always talk too. We do a fair amount of talking but sometimes it’s best when I just listen. You see, God made me a dreamer. Inspire the Fire, is in a large part of the dream. When I first started Inspire the Fire as a 17 year old, I had no idea it would evolve into a movement. That every year 400 some odd teens, pre-teens, and young adults would flock to a theater for an event set to course their lives for years to come. I had no idea that kids would think it not just worth it to come to ITF sessions on 2 Saturdays out the month, but some even PREFER it!! Wow!
I’m an award-winning songwriter, leader of an upcoming soul singers group called GAP, an Adjunct Professor at Catawba Callege, a Creative Director, a Youth Leader at Several Churches, but above all, I’m a dreamer! My Dream is to make the World better. My dream is to give people something to talk about when I’m gone, the historians something to write about, the pundants something to debate, and leave an imprint on the lives of those Young & Old!
