Candace Jacobs grew up in California and made her way to North Carolina by way of Catawba College. There, she received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish. She has been working in higher education since 2005, and enjoys singing, learning Spanish, the arts, cultural events, and being involved in her church.
